Spawn #10 is on the Kickstarter, I hope they raise the $5000 they're shooting for... they're only at $40,874 with 27 days to go...

Check out the new Cerebus masks and whatnots. PENIS and XXXXX added. (You're welcome Larry...)

And on the last Wednesday of the month (the 28th), pick up the Vault of Cerebus

Buy Batvark: PENIS (in stores NOW! (Possibly along with the "Censored For Grandma" Variant, Batvark: XXXXX.).) If you're in the market for a "Virgin" Batvark: Penis (limited to ONLY 253 copies!), you need to track down Benjamin Hobbs and pester him until he throws one at you...

Signed copies of Vark Wars: Walt's Empire Strikes Back (Signed by Dave, Signed by Dave and me, Signed by me after I scribble out Dave's name, Pretty much available Signed only...). If you've emailed me about it and haven't heard back, it's because I'm a lazy prick and haven't gotten around to taking care of that. I'ma do that this weekend...

As you all know, Wilf Jenkins was the Aardvark/Vanaheim lawyer for years, and during that time he was on the comp list. Wilf saved all his copies. Dave and Wilf have signed them, and there's a certificate of authenticity. The books will be available from Looking For Heroes, for $10 (CAD) plus $4 dollars shipping to Canada and $5 dollars shipping to the USA. All the money goes to the Food Bank of the Waterloo Region.

Next Time: I have no idea...

Dave would have made a great defense lawyer in another life.

Dave: Your honour, my client doesn't celebrate Ramadan he observes it.

Judge brings out a Thesaurus.

The synonym of observe is commemorate, acknowledge, honour, and CELEBRATE.

Oh nonsense. Christians "observe" Good Friday; I don't think any would say they "celebrate" it. Same with Jews and Yom Kippur, I'd assume.

And Dave isn't a misogynist, 'cause that means fear of women and Dave isn't afraid of women, right Tony?

It's always funny to see different strains of RWNJ try to discuss an issue. They depart reality right out of the gate in their very premises, always insisting that they are the sane and sober ones. Dave's signature paranoia and self-pity are on an upswing lately.

D, misogyny doesn't translate into "fear of women". It translates from the Greek parts to "hatred of women".

Either way, Dave is not a misogynist.

But, thanks, again, for your signature stirring of the pot.

Jeff S.: Thank you for your pedantry. The example I gave was chosen because it is one that people have actually made. And I'm afraid that you are wrong; Dave is a misogynist. Dave said woman can't think logically, can't differentiate themselves from animals, should be denied the right to vote, and should be beaten when they disagree with a man. These are not the statements of a civilized human being. But thanks again for your signature sycophancy.

I know I'm going to regret this, but...Damian, what on earth does your comment have to do with my distinction between observing a commemoration and celebrating one?

To make it personal, my brother and I will be observing the seventh anniversary of the death of our mother this February. It will, trust me, not be a celebration.

And Jeff: Tell Damian that you only resort to pedantry when it becomes painfully obvious that it is necessary. You're welcome.
