Also, see my comments above about the individual choices that apply.

What you're paying for with CEREBUS ARCHIVE and the Bonus Prints is the best possible physical reproduction and a big part of that is "size as": the prints are 11x17 and are shot from 11x17 artwork. Reduction is always going to erode detail. With the oversized pictures that holds true. Your best bet is "size as", but the entire CEREBUS ARCHIVE project is only possible because all of the prints are 11x17 so we can have a "one size fits all" shipping package and (relatively) affordable shipping. 11x17 is really the upper boundary of what you can affordably ship.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06502294606395720342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2837001751311078781.post-63367427447038147612016-03-19T11:34:26.519-05:002016-03-19T11:34:26.519-05:00@Chris - That's the point (to print them out),...@Chris - That's the point (to print them out), as it would be cost prohibitive to included these oversized pieces in an Archive release...al roneynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2837001751311078781.post-81829328087401528252016-03-19T06:47:12.275-05:002016-03-19T06:47:12.275-05:00It looks like a great idea but I do have one conce...It looks like a great idea but I do have one concern and that is if you are going to loose revenue from the "Archives".

If you are giving super high res files, why can't we just print them out onto nice paper?

Chris
Chrisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2837001751311078781.post-1828973489584306332016-03-18T12:11:36.015-05:002016-03-18T12:11:36.015-05:00Sim-related: Just came across this, for those who ...Sim-related: Just came across this, for those who are interested in Alex Raymond, in advance of Dave's own Strange Death: "Alex Raymond: An Artistic Journey: Adventure, Intrigue and Romance" by Ron Goulart, with strip illustrations. www.hermespress.com/products/alex-raymond-an-artistic-journey-adventure-intrigue-and-romancer

-- Damian
Damian T.
