The Hunter S. Thompson of philosophy makes a special guest appearance! Sadly, all of Gustave DorĂ©’s fine linework is lost on the man who thinks that it’s easy to eat all of Tasmania in a single sitting and that the rings of Saturn are autobiographical. While it’s still up for debate as to whether or not Nietzsche’s writings actually comprise a formal philosophical system per se, there can be no doubt that he’s a very funny writer and that goes a long way in our books.

Reminded me of Steve Gerber's Howard The Duck. Just needs some 'neez'
"Brazil is stronger than any dinosaur!"—well, that ALMOST counts, Dave.
And, alas, isn't true as of this past month or so.
THE ALL CAPS! LOL!
Actually, I lived in Dallas for six years. I think the Texas-most-expensive-teeth thing is true and not at all insane. ... But, who am I to say? I think my cat understands me when I talk to him.
It was definitely a case of "I'VE got to do one of those!" Which happens a lot on Funny Friday. Use the other guy's character and concept and see what you can do with it. I had tears in my eyes by the end of the first panel reading it the first time.
I'm all choked up here myself (pass a tissue, would you, Honey?)...
It's amazing how long it takes to get the right word rhythms on nonsense dialogue. "It's a non-sequitur word, but it isn't the RIGHT non-sequitur word".
In so many ways, when you think of it, we're ALL talking to Jeff Seiler's cat!
I love the Cranberries line...Groucho would be so proud right now.
"Why does Dean have a picture of a shark to identify himself?" Oh, wait. Optical illusion. Never mind.
Non sequitur Nietzsche!
I really admire this one. I hear some people ad-lib their idea of nonsense (usually mocking Miss Teen South Carolina 2007) and all they're really doing is stringing together random nouns, thinking that's clever. this stuff is wild, and mocking Nietzsche is always fun!
by the way, for those of you who may not remember (or know), here's the famed quote from MTSC2007. (read with caution; loss of IQ points may occur.)
"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some, uh, people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and, I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, or, uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future. For our children."
Methinks that Nietzsche had one too many energy drinks.
