On an unrelated note, I was at my recently refurbished and relocated LCS today, Cave Comics, which has a nice visual theme of different sketches of Batman adorning the walls, all done presumably at conventions. There's Batman sketches by Wrightson, Kaluta, Mignola, Simonson, Byrne, the list goes on. But in a nice prominent spot behind the cash register at the new store, they have a Cerebus as Batman drawn by Dave in 1997. It has a Frank Miller flair to it. Very cool to see.
I apologize for the blurriness of that photo, taken with my even-then outdated Blackberry phone. Both Dave and I forgot, in our excitement over finding the basement door not boarded up (which it had been for many years), completely forgot that we had his video camera in the back end of my van out back.
I had the video camera with me for the CEREBUS TV episode of me being interviewed by Alexis. Jeff was nice enough to do the camera work and do a short comedy spot with Alexis.
Kousmichoff - Nyuck nyuck nyuck. Can you imagine what it's like to PLAY on an NFL team people are saying that about? You get the same contusions and concussions everyone else in the league gets but, YAWN! Not a lot of fun.
I'm pretty ignorant regarding technology. If you take a picture on your cellphone, how DO you post it here? I know how to post a picture from my phone onto Facebook; a photo icon appears right next to the reply space, and clicking on it brings up your cellphone photo library. You then just click on the desired photo, highlighting it, and then press send.
If anyone can guide an old Luddite, i'll post a fun Cerebus as Batman here.
I've got a picture of a Cerebus head from someone who had a booth at the 2011 Boston Comic Con (a drawing Dave did for the person's booth display, I guess. Maybe if Dave sees it he'll have an idea of where and when it was done). I'll find it on my phone and email it to you at some point, Tim!

Congrats on the progress!

No slow motion footage? Aw, nuts.
Still, it was more exciting than watching the Cleveland Browns this season.

Regrets? I've (we've?) had a few...
That was in July of 2011, IIRC.
Tempus fugit.
Actually, that picture's got a nice painterly quality to it with the blurriness, Jeff. Sargent-esque, maybe?
Interesting, the prints are already arranged and THEN signed. Huh.
Jim Sheridan - Tell Cave Comics I appreciate it. See if they'll let you take a cellphone photo next time you're in that you can post here.
And, when mentioning your LCS (general AMOC rule going forward?) please include contact info -- url, phone number, whatever.
Thanks, Jim!
Jeff - Tempus Fug It, indeed. :)

Travis - I agree on the painterly quality. A CLEAR picture of the downstairs at Now & Then being renovated would just seem WRONG somehow.

Hi Jim,
You'll have to email me the photo and I'll then post it:
momentofcerebus@gmail.com
Thanks,
Tim
