Wait a sec... even mo' VDH! (Dave's weekly update #503)

Dave thinks it could be a Variant Cover...

I know Imaginary AMOC Reader who lives Rent-free in my head, I know... "Razafrazzin' Variant Covers..." Which is why I've offered to cover the cost to print up 150 micro prints (basically 8&1/2 by 5.5 inch prints.) which Dave has agreed to sign and number and sent to Steve who would then sign them as well. (If it were MY KS, I'd offer to number them with any number you want, up to 42 digits, for an extra $2. But I'm just the guy funding the deal, not the guy making the deal...) 

Anyway, more on that when we hit "Steve Peters Week 2023" in two to three weeks.

SPEAKING of RAZAFRAZZIN' Variant Covers: I got four of the misprinted glossy blank TMNT #8 covers. I only need one, so I offered the other three up on the Faceybookees:

 Well, there was only one image that came to mind, the Cover to Cerebus #1.

I started with a test on a separate piece of paper:
Pencils.
Inks.
Color.

It looked really damn good.

Then I started on the "nigh impossible to apply ink to" Blank cover:

Yes, it's true. I admit it. I can't draw Cerebus.

I stole a big thick red sharpie from work, and bought a big thick black sharpie. I bought colored sharpies too.

I traced the Cerebus off the back cover of #1:

So, when I scanned it, the color got all screwy: But that pink is very very red. I assure you.
