Dave, you are truly a mentsh (look it up, guys). I don't know whether I am Jewish or not, but I fully relate to the concept. What you said you would do for Craig's daughter is A GOOD THING. When all is said and done, there will be a place for you, God willing.

Hi Jeff. God willing. 40 years of sin is a lot to atone for. If you CAN atone for it. Only one way to find out.

I spoke to Howard Miller yesterday and got his mailing address. He has a LOT of stuff that he's keeping for Jennifer when she comes of age, so it's not as if Craig's CEREBUS SUPERFAN AWARD is going to get misplaced. Craig's Dad deserves ALL the credit in the world: no background in any of this stuff and he has spent four years "getting up to speed" on the world of collecting...more than full time...and generating a tidy sum for Jennifer for her college tuition...some day.

I've definitely got a complete set of "father & daughter" Christmas cards in the CORRESPONDENCE Archive up to age...6...I think Jennifer was.

Ack! I need to be in on this. 'Following Cerebus' is a much needed piece missing from my collection. I'm assuming that there will be more info on this, as things progress, but does anyone know if the fine folks at Escape Pod Comics would be willing to mail out a near complete run, if I paid the shipping?

I always liked flipping through Following Cerebus. Good to know that there's some money going to Craig's daughter (who must reach the age of majority sooner than the 12-13 years Dave says in the video if she was at least 6 years old 4 years ago, no?). Hopefully she'll have a chance to reprint the whole shebang in a book at some point, maybe.

"What is this favorite Buffy photo thing?"

Actually, seeing it in the video again, did anyone ever figure out why "Vanaheim" came out as "Vamajeo" on the cover of issue 1? Strange computer stuff, I'm guessing!

Travis: I had that weird letter-salad thing happen when I was editing and DTPing a small magazine. It was something about the way the printer handled PDF files -- opening and re-saving them with their own presets for printing.
