Thanks to everyone that has already filled out your survey. There are only 27 surveys left to receive. We can move ahead with scheduling the printing of POT8 No. 1 but it would speed the process up if the remaining surveys come in. Once the surveys are completed we are hopeful that orders will be shipped in a more-timely-than-most-Kickstarters pace. Thanks to everyone for a successful campaign.

Please Hold For Dave Sim 2/2022? Sorry, "please hold"...

Hi, Everybody!

"Did you and Dave talk on Thursday?"

We did, not!

I let Dave know that if he wasn't up to it, we wouldn't, and he said:

So if you sent a question for February, Dave and I (as Dave would say, "God willing",) will get to it in March...

Hopefully, Dave will be feeling better. As he faxed to Sean (and then me):

But hey, it's not all gloom and doom, Dave also sent me this:

Heh. "Sixty-Nine DUDES!!!" So sequentially Bill & Ted, "CAN"ically Clerks...

And if you refuse to listen to or watch these things, then you probably missed your chance at a Canadian priced Swordfish Edition. But Dave let me know today:

So the American Edition is "aborning":
No Cerebus, not aborning with sorcery...

But if you're a collector who missed out, and you want a Canadian Swordfish Edition, I know a guy...

I got eight copies, half signed half not. $25 American. Email momentofcerebus@gmail.com and I'll take care of ya... And if you want Digital PDFs of glamourpuss, email me there too.

Over on the FaceItBooks, Craig Johnson shared:
For real Sim completists - completionists? - ah, whatever - Clifford Meth posted this and a few here might be interested for the Dave intro:-
Sadly, our friend, the writer/artist Bill Messner-Loebs (Flash, Wonder Woman, The Maxx) has fallen on hard times again. He and his wife, who is not in the best of health, are currently residing in a temporary residence while Bill seeks work. At age 73, that isn't as easy as it should be. While I can only hope other publishers will have work for him, I've developed a project for Bill that will take time to unfold--in the meantime, we have some books that Aardwolf published in 2005, and a handful with bookplates SIGNED by Dave Cockrum, Bill, and myself. THREE TENORS OFF KEY features an introduction by Dave Sim and an Afterword by the late, splendid Tom Spurgeon. SIGNED books just are $25 each plus $3 for postage. Please contact me directly if you'd like one.
I reached out to Mr. Meth, and he said:
I’m afraid they will have to connect with me if they want copies. And I don’t have that many left. I’m sorry but this book was published many years ago and I’m not set up as a business—Just a writer and old friend helping Bill. People can connect with me on Facebook or email me at cliffmeth@aol.com
And then added:

I also have a handful of these. They are signed by Bill, Dave Cockrum, Paty Cockrum and myself. Selling the sets for $18
So, if you want to help a brother out...

A Moment of Christmas Day 5: CEREBUS THE EMILY No. 1 (Dave's Weekly Update #422)

Hi, Everybody!
It's the week of Christmas!

Which means EVERY post this week is Christmas themed. Monday's, Tuesday's, Hobbs' on Wednesday, Margaret's on Thursday, The Weekly Update, all leading up to Saturday when the big fella will be heading down your chimney.

Today's A Moment of Christmas is:
Cerebus in Hell?:
Are both near or at their Final Order Cut-off. Which means:

Say, what's that title in the Solicit?

"CIH PRESENTS CEREBUS THE EMILY ONE SHOT"?

That's RIGHT(!) from now on, Cerebus in Hell? #1s will be titled CIH PRESENTS [whatever the parody title is]! This is something I've been fighting for for a while now. See, if your Local Comics Store racks their books alphabetically, then the Cerebus in Hell? one-shot jumps around and won't be found under "C" for Cerebus in Hell?... MULTIPLE people have said that they weren't buying CiH? because they couldn't find it on the rack in their LCS, and on the way home, they'd remember that the title didn't start with "C" and that they didn't look under whatever letter is was racked under. NOW (hopefully) CiH? will be under the "C"s from now on.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

And since it's Christmas, here's a li'l present of something Dave sent me:
What is it? I dunno. Looks like a commission for Josh Even's Cerebus and Ninja Turtle as Barbarians collection. I'M calling it "Middle-Age Barbarian Ninja Aardvark".

I mean, doesn't it just POP "Middle-Age Barbarian Ninja Aardvark"?
