I will start off 2024 by opening up orders for the 2025 ‘Basic Bitch’ Earth Pig Warrior.
Here’s the pricing. The two prices are for ‘unpainted’ and ‘painted’. ‘Painted’ for this run means painted heads and black-lined bodies- so the medallions swords will be the comic-style gray.
If you want gold or silver medallions or a gold & silver sword, that’s a bit extra.
Shipping to the US will be included. Shipping out of the continental US will be extra (determined at time of shipping).
All orders will come with a collector’s card and some stickers!
Basic figure (1 head, 1 pair hands- right grip/left fist, one gray sword) $90/$100. Choose from one of 4 available heads (see photo).

Bibbe is a writer, performer and visual artist. As a teenager she was a member of the group “The Whippets” with Jack Kerouac's daughter Jan Kerouac, releasing the 7" single Go Go Go With Ringo in 1964. That same year, while visiting galleries with her father Al, she met Andy Warhol who decided then and there to make a film based on her experiences called Prison where she starred alongside Edie Sedgwick, Pat Hartley and Marie Menken. Bibbe went on to appear in numerous other Warhol films including Restaurant, 10 Beautiful Girls, 10 More Beautiful Girls, and sat for two Screen Tests.

Breaking News! New Dave Sim EXCLUSIVE cover!

I thought one of them said in the phone interview posted yesterday as the weekly update, that Elephant was their first choice, and the actual offered cover could go to the other guy. Seems to be a win-win?

OR, if you have extra AKIMBO blanks, do two new homages, send one to each of them with full sized prints of the other four homages, signed/personalized/and with a secret message just for the recipient and keep the original three (because as the song goes, "breaking up is hard to do..."). Along with the comics with the covers like originally planned?

OR or, auction all three through Heritage and send a third of the take for the intended give-away cover to Al and a third to Jason and you keep all the rest?

OR Or or... I dunno. This is a sticky wicket, and I'm kinda glad it's not really MY sticky wicket, per se...

In the immortal words of Billy Crystal in The Princess Bride, "have fun storming the castle!"

Old Dave, New Art!

Hi, Everybody!

Yesterday when I made the video for the Lee Thacker portion of Please Hold For Dave Sim, I accidently left out the image Dave was ACTUALLY talking about. (I blame part two being the red-headed stepchild this time (there's ALWAYS a video that breaks the computer and nearly drives me to a homicidal rage. This time it was part two. I got all the way to the end of editing it together, and it wouldn't export. Gave me this weird error. "JSON" was corrupted or something (by the Joker with a crowbar? No idea...). I don't know. I ended up remaking the whole damn thing by copying the layout of the first version, but the timing may be a few seconds off. So if the images don't land EXACTLY when they should, it's because I stopped caring. (It was that or a homicidal rage...) Now you know.).)
 I fixed it, but here it is again:

Part one:  got Steve Peters, who has a new Kickstarter, to remember Jeff for me. Then Dave has general advice for anyone bringing a new IP to market.
Part two: then Steve Peters, who has a new Kickstarter, asks about Mickey Mouse being in the Public Domain.
Part three: Lee Thacker, who is GOING to have a Kickstarter (maybe), had a thanks to Dave, which got Dave to praise the Anxiety Society (the book that should be heading to the Kickstarter.)
