3D Printed Cerebus? What a country!?!

Hi, Everybody!

Cerebus Archive Number Nine: Reads, has ended. SUCCESSFULLY!

So, yay.

Part of the deal this time, was that for every person who backed and pledged for all nine CANs got to pick a CEREBUS Interior page from anywhere in the 6,000 pages and if:

1) it's in the Cerebus Archive OR

2) it's been found through the CEREBUS ART HUNT AND

3) we have permission to reproduce the original art from its current owner
EVERYONE Will now be getting a copy Of that page with their CAN9 PORTFOLIO autographed and/or personalized to them.
Well, two people backed like this, so there are two bonus prints.

If it was ME, I choose these two pages as my first choices:

Over on the FaceItBooks, Official Russian Cerebus Translator Mikhail Bocharov shared this picture of a Cerebus 3D printed figure:
and said:
nono, but me and my friend modified that model:
We add layout with textures (=color)
If you've got a 3D printer, and want the files, shoot an email over to: mostcus at gmail dot com.

Next Time: Hobbs shows off what HE 3D printed...

"Cerebus says it isn't TRUE."

Hi, Everybody!

So back when the Regency Edition was delayed for what seemed like forever, I instituted an embargo on posting High Society pages as part of the (increasingly misnamed) 2019 Re-Read.

Well, the books are arriving, so "lift embargo"...

I hate that @#%&ing gargoyle...

I mean, I REALLY hate that @#%&ING Gargoyle!

About twenty hours to go on Dave Sim's latest Kickstarter.

Philip R. Frey shares original "Strange Death of Alex Raymond" art

Comic News Sites spotlight upcoming "Cerebus in hell?"

Raymond shares the new "Regency Edition" adding: "Beautifully restored artwork with silver gilded pages in a hardcover and bespoke slipcase signed and numbered" "including a ton of extras like a holofoilcard, Regency Hotel stationary and pen"(click links for slideshows)
Raymond Mountford got his

As did David Rankin all the way in the UK

Joshua Even has started a new facebook group called: "Savage Cerebus & TMNT" described as: "A group of comic & comic art fans who love the idea of the TMNT (created by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird) and Cerebus the aardvark (created by Dave Sim) adventuring together in the Hyborean Age. While the TMNT did meet Cerebus in the Mirage comics (vol. 1 #8), their time together was short (but super fun). Now imagine the 4 brothers were stuck in Cerebus's early fantasy setting."

This week's Cerebus and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle commissions for Joshua Even below:

By Alex Riegel

By Thomas Boatwright

By Brookes

By Michael Montenat

By Buster Moody

Cerebus High Society 5 out of 5 stars

paraphrasing Dave Sim

Dave Sim a standup guy

Margaret Liss adds a new banner drawn by Steve Peters for the Cerebus Facebook Group in support of his kickstarter that wrapped successfully this week:
Artwork is from Parallel Comicverses #1 by Steve Peters with a story written and lettered by Dave Sim, art by Steve. Also in it is Max Ink and Bianca Alu-Marr. Plus a ton of other great comic creators. You can get a copy as an add on when you back Steve's kickstarter.

Another piece of original art that appears in Steve Peters’ comic Parallel Comicverses #1.

And the artwork as it is used in the comic

Live action early Cerebus

Last Sunday I shared some images that I was thinking might be good for the menu on a streaming channel. And hey it's been a while since I've played around with doing trailers so here's two: the first one is pretty straightforward while the second one is kinda a Nolan Inception/Interstellar/Tenet mind-bender:)

Cerebus Syndrome part of the vernacular

Matt Dow has been sharing his progress giving "how to" instructions and inspires Rob Snell

Thanks Oliver!
