Thanks to everyone that has already filled out your survey. There are only 27 surveys left to receive. We can move ahead with scheduling the printing of POT8 No. 1 but it would speed the process up if the remaining surveys come in. Once the surveys are completed we are hopeful that orders will be shipped in a more-timely-than-most-Kickstarters pace. Thanks to everyone for a successful campaign.

I think the Joe Kubert school made a huge mistake in not having Dave teach; he's one of the greatest comic book artists of all time with an understanding of how everything on the page works to create the intended response in the reader.

What a blown opportunity and a shame that some of those students didn't get a chance to have their work critiqued and receive constructive advice on how to improve or at minimum get the chance to pick the brain of a talented artist, writer and publisher.

A Fake Name

"Communism doing its thing?" Oy. Doesn't Dave know that Russia hasn't been communist in over 30 years?

As the old saw goes, Dave's problem is less the things he doesn't know as the things he does know that aren't true. These two letters are pretty funny; I could hardly have picked better examples to showcase Dave's persecution complex, narcissism, and general detachment from reality. Here he (as he often does) projects his own feelings, attributes them to other people, and believes in his interior world as if it's objective. As someone who actually interacts with my fellow countrymen, and doesn't hold my own country in contempt, I can state with assurance that Canadians are not idealistic about communism. Dave made that up out of his head.
