A Moment of Christmas! Day 2:The Strange Christmas of Alex Raymond!

Hi, Everybody!
It's the week of Christmas!

Which means EVERY post this week is Christmas themed. Today's, Hobbs' tomorrow, Margaret's on Thursday, The Weekly Update, all leading up to Saturday when the big fella will be heading down your chimney.

Today brings a special Holiday message from Sean Robinson at Living The Line:
The real, true end of the campaign?
Hello everyone,

Well, 22 more boxes went out this week, and with that last flurry of activity, our campaign is almost at an end, for real this time.

The 18 very patient people who were awaiting their Preliminary Strange Death books, and/or replacements for damages, will soon receive them (allowing for holiday delivery delays). And that will be largely it for this campaign...

But let me leave you with a few things.

First, if any of you receiving packages in the next week have any issues with what you receive, or if anyone else is missing anything, please do contact us as soon as you're able to let us know. We want to make sure everyone is satisfied with what they've received for their contribution.

Second, if you know anyone in need of a signed (unnumbered) copy of the book, a digital copy, or anything else, please refer them to LivingtheLinebooks.com. We have a store up with remainders from the campaign, digital offerings (including You Don't Know Jack), and we'll be adding new goodies in the next few weeks as I clean out my office space (!).

Third, please take a look at the contest we're running below. You can win two pieces of Strange Death original art by reviewing the book on Amazon or Goodreads by the end of January, or posting a photo of yourself with a book anywhere on social media (relaxing at the beach perhaps? fireside selfie in your rocking chair??). We'll have some kind of drawing at the end of January to determine the two winners. We're hoping to keep the discussion of the book going over the next few months so that more people can enjoy what you all have helped us bring to life.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all! We hope you're all doing well and enjoying the season.

All the best,
Sean
Living the Line

And Speaking of The Strange Death of Alex Raymond, Dave sent me this "Christmas Miracle":

That's right, Dave's still working on SDOAR volume 3(?).

Here's what Dave's talking about:

"Mom? Why's Mickey Rooney dancing with Clark Kent? I'm trying to sleep..."

Question from a Cerebus newbie: can someone please tell me where one can get the Remastered Cerebus books or what their ISBN numbers are? It's so difficult to find out which place online is selling the remastered versions and which place is selling the old ones.

In Stock Trades, advertised in the right margin of the AMOC home page, has all of the remasters except "Reads." (I can only speculate as to why they've never carried that one...)
