hey, i'm through my first complete read of cerebus (in the middle of going home, actually), and received earlier this week the last 2 books, i wanted to ask why doesn't latter days have the names of dave and ger in the spine unlike the other 15 books in the collection.

is it a story thing and i'll get it once i read it or maybe my copy had a printing error?

BTW, HENCH is available for purchase on Amazon!

Dave, I noticed IDW is publishing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles covers book in 2017 of Kevin Eastmans and Peter Lairds years at Mirage Studios.
I was wondering if you wrote an introduction to this book like Kevin Eastman did for yours.

Adam - Thanks for posting here. Also I appreciate your offer of help (which I didn't think of something that might work until I was off the phone): as I said, I'm looking for 8.5x11 or 11x17 pieces of things that Joe Public has heard of, like THE TRANSFORMERS so (this is going to sound weird) if you know anyone out in L.A. who is a CEREBUS fan and has worked on something that people have heard of and they wouldn't mind signing a "something people have heard of" something to me that I can put up in the house...

...somewhere down the line it might be the thing that saves The Whole Off-White House long after we're all dead!! "Wait a minute! We can't throw all this in a dumpster! That's THE TRANSFORMERS!! And that's..."

etc. etc.

"Hail Mary pass" but, at this point, what isn't? Ended up reading a good chunk of HENCH. It's very catchy stuff.

Andres G - I'll have to check and get back to you on that. It might be because of the multi-layered colour design. No way to get two names to stand out. But, as I say, I'll check when I get back to the house and, God willing, post here again tomorrow.

Glen - THAT would be funny. No, I'm pretty sure IDW would want to get someone FAMOUS to do that. Either AS famous or MORE famous than Kevin and Peter. I'm nowhere near at that level.

Dave - I'll ask around!

I recognize Beechen's name from Aardvark Comment over the years, and from comics of his own. I used to watch the Hub (now Discovery Family) religiously (mainly for the old G1 Transformer reruns, coincidentally), and "The Adventures of Chuck and Friends" would be on in the morning and I'd see his name in the credits and be like, "Hey! It's a famous Cerebus fan!"

JLH - And you can never have too many of those!

JLH - You're very kind, thanks! And thanks for watching!

Dave - Still trying to track down a poster. The production office moved a couple months ago, and they either got rid of a lot of stuff, or don't know where some of it wound up. If worst comes to worst, I'll print out a nice promo piece or screen cap from TRANSFORMERS: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE and send that along, cool?

Tim - Thanks for this site and all the hard work you put into it!

Best,
AB
