The Old AMOC Mailbag: Sean Robinson Edition (part 1)

Hi, Everybody!

Don't forget to give your hickies to the Living Tarim! Matt  (Some of these might be ending, I'll have to update it soon.)

Anyway,

Everybody's friend, Sean Michael Robinson, sent in a load of links to the ol' AMOC Mailbag at
momentofcerebus@gmail.com.

Which has made him our second "AMOC Special Friend of the Day":
Suitable for framing...

What'd he send in?

First, this:
Fairly silly commentary from Jeet Heer (who should know better.) Includes a statement "from a friend" who is clearly one of two people. (You guys! Jeet Heer has IMPORTANT FRIENDS).

And for those of you who don't wanna click over to "Tweeter",

Next Time: Sunday. Dave. Religion.

You know, I started noticing Professor Peterson getting press in the mass media here South of the Border (SOB) about a week or so after I first heard of him.

Where, you might ask, did I first hear of him? Why, right here on A Moment of Cerebus, of course. Matt, you are such a trailblazer!

As for "making up his own religion," that of course is a very ancient and time-honored tradition, nothing unique about Dave there. Martin Luther, Joseph Smith, and whoever founded the Jehovah's Witnesses all come immediately to mind.

Then of course there's the Prophet "Bob" Dobbs.

Oh, speaking of the border, Happy Canada Day to NOB MOCers. Sorry my president decided to pick a trade war with you guys. There are things I like about him, but that's not one of them.

Except that Mr. Heer writes, or used to write, for the National Post, which for Mr. Sim is as real as it gets.

Haha. Like every person these people put on blast this could actually be GOOD for Cerebus, look what it did for Peterson.

Also, this dude going after Marashall McLuhan on Twitter, of all platforms. LMFAO.

But, hey, great to see Dave in such a list.

Also, maybe this will make it to Peterson and he will give the Cerebus books we sent him a second look?

I'm Canadian & didn't know David Brooks was from Canada.

Naturally us Canadians are great thinkers. When you sit in your house for eight months of the year to escape the icy grip of old man winter, there's not much else to do.
