That reminds me. When was the last time you heard from RaShanti, The Pope-in-Exile of Alpahretta? Last I heard from him was in collected letters vol 1.
So I'm guessing that's the original colour art for the first printing of Swords of Cerebus #1.
I always figured the cover was changed because the printer didn't have the right press for printing something like this - especially evident in the text box on the back cover.
Printing close registration 4-colour work on a one or two colour press is a real challenge - I did it for over ten years, don't miss it.
One of those Cerebus mysteries I'd like to know more about, should Dave care to share.

Wow...Dave reads my card, and it's as good as when Alan Moore reads the original of Watchmen...

Yeah, Dave should be doing voiceover work. Comics to audio files!
Aw, little Dow's a cutie, Matt. I won't even make a snarky comment insinuating she's not yours! (uh...oops!) J/K!

In keeping with the voice over theme this week, Mark from Brooklyn kind of sounds like Sol Rosenberg from The Jerky Boyz
Hi, I was wondering if Dave is still doing commissions? And how do I purchase one? Thanks
Alex - Dave has a serious hand injury and isn't doing any drawing at all these days...
