Please Hold For Dave Sim 2/2025

Hi, Everybody!

Audio:

Video:

Part the first, I remember Jeff in a way that ties in to the CAN11/Narutobus Kickstarter, and Jeff's contribution to Vark Wars.
Part the second, Dave (and I) answer Jason Salzarulo's question(s) about Dave's thoughts on the situation in Gaza.
Part the third, Dave answers Kevin Birge's question:
Any thoughts on how current creators can overcome the problem of distribution as the industry contracts?
And anonymous who asked:
Off topic....but any idea how Diamonds Bankruptcy will effect AV?
Part the fourth, Dave and I discuss April's podcast episode featuring Dave.
And if you missed it, here's the episode:

Part the fifth, MJ Sewall, author and restauranter (when in historic Lompac California, visit Alfie's Fish & Chips. Mention to your server that you heard about Alfie's from Please Hold to receive complimentary water and a hug...) asks:
Where did your love of black and white art begin? Were you most influenced by Canadian Whites, Fanzine art, or Underground Comix? Or something entirely different?
Part the sixth, Michael Shelton asked:
So does Dave or Gerhard just randomly reread Cerebus?
Part the Seventh, Rob Snell asked:
Anyone have the backstory on Cerebus being on the cover of Mile High Comics catalog? I think this was the first time I saw Cerebus.

Part the eighth, Michael Shelton asked:
Hey Dave, Michael Shelton here. My questions are "How would you rank each phonebook in terms of your personal enjoyment/satisfaction?" And "How would you rank each phonebook in terms with sales"
Part the nineth, from the Home Office in Easton, PA, Michael R. asked:
Hi Matt! Hopefully, you are keeping warm during this deep freeze we're having. Here's my question for Dave.

Hi Dave!
There are remastered single issues of Cerebus 1, 2, and 4. Will there ever be a remastered issue 3? Maybe you can Kickstart issue 3 with the next CAN and Cerebus In Hell?
Michael R.
Part the tenth thru part the twelfth will be up tomorrow (technical difficulties...)
