Good FUNNY FRIDAY this week -- both Sandeep and I got seven strips done. So, doing a rough calculation that means that we're well into January 2017. When you're running ahead of a freight train, it's a good idea to keep it as many MILES as possible behind you!

Just a reminder that the daily strips at cerebusdownloads.com aren't being reprinted in CEREBUS IN HELL? #0. Those are all brand new strips, including the first page which is a four-panel distillation of the 6,000 page graphic novel for those people needing to "catch up".

And thanks to our volunteers -- who I've christened "The Paint Dept." Like Disney back in the 1930s or something. Watch for the first credited volunteer strips in the next couple of weeks.

Sandeep! Typo in the fourth strip: should be "bat-wings" instead of "bat-winds".

Pretty jazzed about the debut of the Legion of Miniaturized Super-Cerebus Robots. Mostly because I couldn't remember what I had called them and I didn't want to use them again until I knew what I had called them. "Oh, here they are: at the end of August!"

I had a strip with Cerebus against a white background so I needed to draw two word balloons on the mocked-up strip with one of my Micron pens. Lousy balloons. Definite "jitter" and "sag" to the line. Bad placement: that is, they didn't "hook up" where they were supposed to. If I can't do a couple of word balloons then I'm not ready to draw anything else. For those of you who keep asking "How's the wrist?" I'm afraid that's your answer.

Argh! Bat-winds...

Also, strip 7, panel 1, you misspelled Cerebus.

Missed that one. Good eye, Jeff!
