It's not falling in love which presents the challenge, but acting in love, in preferring others above yourself, not insisting on your own way, making decisions from a frame of mind which believes the 'us' of a family is more important than the me which would all too often choose selfishly.
My wife is an answer to several years of prayer before I even met her. Our daughters are growing into their teen years in classrooms where greater than 50% of their classmates come from blended or single parent homes.
It isn't easy or always pleasant - but so very tremendously rewarding.
