Dave Sim:
Much as Sandeep would like to keep doing all the technical stuff on CEREBUS IN HELL? there are just way too many things on his plate at the moment. And I keep producing strips even though there's a large inventory right now. Because with a daily strip, you're "running ahead of the freight train" and lead time has a way of evaporating in a hurry.
So, we're putting out a general plea for volunteer PHOTOSHOP technicians who are interested in trying out. You'll get an e-mailed scan of a mock-up of one of my strips and the raw materials (Dore backgrounds, Cerebus figures and Joe Kubert lettering font) and then be asked to produce a finished digital strip from it.
No pay, but you will be credited on "your" strip in perpetuity -- both on first release or in any collection -- either just your name or your name and website (or whatever you want) under the last panel.
Which volunteers we end up using will be based on reliability, accuracy and speed. With humour you definitely need to read all the word balloons in the right order and they need to fit properly. And we can't really afford to have strips "out there" for extended periods of time so we're going to lean towards people who can turn a strip around in a day or so.
Turn in a usable finished strip promptly and we'll send you another one.
Those interested can e-mail Sandeep directly at sandeep.s.atwal@gmail.com and he'll get a strip out to you.
Thanks! And now, the cover to CEREBUS #160!!

Wow. Dave Sim offering to pay in exposure. Never thought I'd see that day.
