That's a very alluring endorsement of Chris' work, but it would have been nice to be shown a couple of the interior pages, for those of us not familiar with it.

I'm pretty sure it's just text, TD.

Tony again said...

Huh. That would have been useful information, too - being that this is a blog about a comic book.

Chris Woerner's books are available on Amazon.

Here's Dave's bedtime stories:

These self published books give me an Alex Jonesy vibe.

Whoa...looking at the previews, it seems to be basically 400 pages of blog posts. Um...pass. Thanks, Glen.

In response to Dave's comment about Chris publishing four books this year compared to me only managing to get two issues of the 'Tales From The Wedding Present' comic completed (nice to get a name check again!)... I've only ever managed to get three issues completed in a single year (2014, 2015 and 2016) and not four as Dave remembers. I also (respectfully) have to point out that writing four books (as Mike points out, I'm pretty sure it's text without drawings) takes a lot less time than drawing four books. Just sayin'... However, it's still pretty impressive getting four books published in one year! Kudos!

So, not to be a curmudgeon, but Dave told me not to send any more books as Christmas presents (because I sent him Charles Krauthammer's final book, a writer whom Dave affirmed years ago that we both appreciated), because he doesn't have time to read books, but he does a whole segment on how much he enjoys reading Chris W's books?

Chris?

Congrats!

Dave?

Really?!?

Sorry, I only check AMOC once in a while. Since none of you ever tell me when Dave mentions me, I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked. Hmmph.

*checks to make sure he still has a pair*

And Jeff, I think the difference is that I actually made these books and didn't just pick out something someone else made that I thought Dave might like. I don't care if he likes them, he's liked a few in the past and understands the collector's mentality, so he's going to get a complete set until he tells me not to darken his doorway again. He won't even try to read my fiction and I'm more proud of that work than the rest of it.
