More penciling, more inking, more auctions...(Dave's Weekly Update #291)

Hi, Everybody!

COMIC LINK AUCTIONS!!! Where you can get: a Platinum edition of Birthday card #1 signed by NEAL ADAMS, and DAVE SIM, with a NEAL ADAMS Superman stamp. OR, a Gold edition of Birthday card #1 signed by NEAL ADAMS and DAVE SIM with NO STAMP. Or, OR, a print of the Cover to GREEN DANTE/GREEN VIRGIL #1 (Pretend you're Seiler. Impress your friends. Make your enemies super-jealous,) there are three of them, but one of them shall be mine! (Ya know, as long as none of you guys got more money than me...)

Wanna give Dave and David And Davjamin... er, Benjamin, and Sean monies, but don't wanna deal with the hassle of going to a comicbook store and tracking down a copy of the latest Cerebus in Hell? One-Shot (The LGBTQetc. People is the next one coming,)? Well, we've got you covered.

If you're in the market to dress like Dave Sim, you can buy a "Matt D's A Moment of Cerebus" t-shirt right here. Or, if you're one of those nostalgia buffs who likes the earlier funnier A Moment Of Cerebus posts, the Tim W. Logo is available too

The remastered Volume 1 is available digitally for $9.99.

If you want this:

UPDATE: Bidding's at EIGHTEEN bucks, thanks to Larry Wooten! (Thanks Larry!) (All the money goes to Dave, I get nothing. (By choice.))

If you got a couple of extra bucks and want to do a fellow Cerebus fan a solid, Friend of the Blog Mike Battaglia has a go fund me here

All the Postcard from Hell? #2 surveys are in, and the cards are at the printers.

If you're looking for Cerebus the Barbarian Messiah, or Conversations. You got more than one way to behead a Borelean, Conversations, and Cerebus the Barbarian Messiah

Oh, yeah, and heeeeeere's Dave:

Let's look at what you can get in the NEXT GREAT A MOMENT OF CEREBUS ORIGINAL ART AUCTION (Who thinks Seiler has any money left?):

Cerebus' left arm: All Ditko/Adams'd up
Worried Cerebus: All Ditko/Adams'd up
Cerebus Staining to NOT be consumed by the Spider-Beast*: All Ditko/Adams'd up
Cerebus straining to NOT be consumed by the Spider-Beast*: All Ditko/Adams'd up
The Amicable Spider-Vark Logo: Pretty much just Ditko'd,
I don't know if Dave's gonna add more stuff to this Auction Next Week, or if this is all there is, so I'm starting the bidding at thirty bucks (US Dollars!).

*I'm pretty sure the Spider-Beast first showed up during J. Michael Straczynski's Amazing Spider-Man run in the early 2000s.

Dave sent me a bunch of scans, so next week, there might be, Spiderbaby!

Next Time: The ol' AMOC Mailbag is got some nifty stuff in it...

This issue of Cerebus In Hell? has the most new Dave Sim art yet, on the cover and the interior. It also has the funniest sex scene ever. I snorted Dr. Pepper into my nose when I read it. 2020 is going to be a great CIH? year.

I can see the promo strip already: "Everything I needed to know about Sex, I learned from Cerebus In Hell?!!"

John Christian:

$40 for the Please Hold drawing, or for the Dave Sim drawings?

'Cause Seiler has already bid $50 for the Dave Sim drawings.

Matt
