It's not often (ever?) commented on, that Dave Sim sought out multiple commissions from Russ Heath (and Gene Colon) for Glamourpuss.. I'm guessing at a time when they both could really use the money. Respect.
That really does deserve respect and it s great that this site is able to publicize that.
Dave is a lot of things to a lot of people, but he has always been a generous man.
It was Dave who suggested that I do an interview, via email, with Gene Colan, shortly after that all pencils special issue of Captain America came out. It wasn't long after that that Mr. Colan died.
"Colan" not "Colon". Right. How mortifying!
It's okay, Tim. I've been a regular correspondent with Mr. Sims for years.
