Last week, we looked at the cover of CEREBUS, THE LAST AARDVARK IN HELL? #1, a cover that is currently in development. Several options were presented for Cerebus dialogue, and votes were cast in the comments. The results were overwhelming in favor of Eddie's suggestion, with a whooping TWO votes.
The winning dialogue is:
"We finally really did it! You maniacs! You made Cerebus into Charlton Heston! Damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
Will David Birdsong use this caption? Will Dave Sim write something better? Find out in 2020! (or 2021, depending on how things shake out.)

Also, if you guys use this one, then Cerebus needs a follow-up balloon: "Now where's Cerebus' rifle? Chuck said you wouldn't get his rifle until you pried it from his cold dead hands..."
