I dunno...stuff (this daily blog thing is for the birds...)

Hi, Everybody!

Ya got a Kickstarter?

No?

You're seriously like the only one...

Friend to the Blog, James Windsor Banderas Habanero Smith has a new Kickstarter. While he doesn't have a Dave Sim variant cover THIS TIME, he has a rewards tier that has one of the variants Dave did for a previous campaign. He ALSO has AMOCeteer Oliver Simonsen returning with a new Captain Zap tale, AND Shannon Wheeler (who is Kickstartering a new collection of Too Much Coffee Man soon.) AND, I sent Dave samples of James' new issue, and he replied:
Which I haven't sent James yet, so he's finding out about this right now, same as all you guys...

AND, Steve's book has a collaboration between James and Dave in it BESIDES the 8 page collaboration between Steve and Dave. And Steve has a "Dave Sim" tier of 10 books Dave contributed to. I sent Dave some of the promo stuff Steve sent me, and Dave said:

And AND, Robert T. Jeschonek is soon to launch HIS Kickstarter. Legends of Indie Comics. Which features:

Now, more than ever, we need them to remind us how fun and exciting comics can be. Dave's Spawn 10 script cover looks amazing -- looks even better than McFarlane's original spread. There's no lazy drawing in Dave's and the variety of hands masterful.

Either Marvel or DC could take advantage of Dave's Neal Adams-like style for some heavy tombs of reprints of their 70s comics. Nobody does that Adams style anymore. You could call them "Phonebooks" maybe. It's up you, M & DC.
