Our friends at the Waverly Press have produced "wax packs" for the trading cards they've produced over the years.
As they say on the eBay:
So each of the five packs has a card of the wax pack, and a new sticker card. For the past five years we have published Cerebus related projects with Aardvark-Vanaheim. Accompanying the projects have been a series of numbered Cerebus promotional trading cards. These projects have included the remastered Spawn #10 and remastered Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8 which were Cerebus crossover issues which also had their own promotional trading cards. The print runs of the cards have been generally low, mostly 100 of each with some being a little higher and in all, there are about 260 cards including prototype, error, foil, autograph, lenticular and glow in the dark cards. Offered here is a retro style promotional wax wrapper for this card set. You will receive the flat, unfolded wrapper, and the new card and sticker exclusive to just this pack which are positioned on either side of the wrapper on the photo. You will also receive 8 additional cards randomly mixed from the entire run. NOTE: No one mass produces retro style wax wrapper paper anymore and the printer we used attempted to replicate the 1970s and 80s style wrappers, but under-waxed the paper, so we were not able to properly fold and seal the packs as intended, so we are offering the packs "unwrapped." Due to the nature and fragility of the paper, the sheet you receive may have minor imperfections which are specific to type of paper used but you will receive a generally NM/M unused wrapper. Your wrapper will be mailed flat, bagged and boarded and the cards will be packed separately in a clear wrapper. Due to the limited number of remaining cards in inventory, we can only offer 100 of these promotional wrapper sets and these will not be reprinted or widely distributed. Thank you!

Our very own Jen DiGiacomo is part of a film production titled The Day Elvis Died. She'll never ask anybody here, but they're crowdfunding to finish the post production on the movie. (It's set in 1977, will a certain obscure Canadian cartoon aardvark make a cameo? (No. Elvis died in August. Cerebus wasn't published until December. Any appearance in the flick would be an anachronism that would ruin the movie for everybody. EVERYBODY!).) Here's the first trailer.
