Kickstarters!:
Carson and Sean's Excellent Campaign ends in a week. They added this thing:
The Preliminary Strange Death is a 120-page oversized book, presenting for the first time in print the preliminary artwork of Dave Sim. This volume is stuffed with preliminary artwork for both STRANGE DEATH and the STRANGE DEATH-related sequences for glamourpuss, presented as close to at-size as possible. This is a limited-availability, supplemental book, the same dimensions as STRANGE DEATH — 8.25" x 12", so it will fit comfortably on the shelf next to the finished book. As Sim's artwork increased in compositional complexity, Sim's tracing paper work became increasingly vital to his process, enabling him to reposition figures and even parts of figures to adjust his compositions and body language without having to redraw each time. These images give critical insight into the artist's interlocking drawing and design processes.

I once saw a goose skid across a frozen pond like that. To this day, it reminds me of this panel.
I just have to chime in here and say that "The Young Ones" is: The. Best. TV show. EVER.
I first discovered it when MTV was showing it in the late 80s and I was living with 3 roommates, and here we were basically watching these London versions of ourselves at the time. Each of us even took on the name of one of them (I was Neil).
And don't worry, we didn't *pay* for MTV; it was pirated, of course. I TOLD you we were just like The Young Ones.
This pages really bring back the disappointment I felt at the time. What a long slide.
Anon? Not in the least bit. Very entertaining and funny.
And, a Milk Maids Union is actually not a bad idea. Even if, as the itty-bitty-kitty said, that the milk's still good from the itty-bitty-titty (which, CLEARLY) is not the case here.
Milk maids around the world? Unite. But, um, you know, kinda watch where yer goin'. Please?
