Latest Kickstarter Update:
Hello Backers! Sorry for the couple days of radio silence, they have been busy ones.
We are astonished at how the number of backers zoomed past 300 and just keeps going. Thank you all so much! Your assistance is allowing us to pay for a large print run that will keep the book in stock and in stores for a long time to come. We have also been able to pay for a marketing campaign that includes a full page ad in Previews (we were buzz worthy!)
and Diamond Bookshelf as well as banner ads on comic news websites, such as The Comics Journal.
You are helping us make this an industry EVENT! Thank you, thank you, thank you
.................................................................................................................... Big news related to the campaign:
Sean and I have started a YouTube review series, also called Living The Line, in which we will be putting all kinds of comics under the lens for discussions about production quality, artistic techniques, comics formalisms, etc.
Our first episode is about the very book you will be getting in the mail from us in a couple short months! Enjoy.
Dave has reached out with an offer to collaborate on a 3 panel Rip Cerebus comic strip. Dave and I will be jamming on the same piece of art board, the one and only time our inks will ever exist on the same piece of original art!!!
This strip will be sold as an add-on to this campaign, a print signed by both myself and Dave and the original art will be auctioned through Heritage Auctions.
Details on the format the add on will take to come soon.
Here is Dave roughing in the first panel of the strip
.............................. Most importantly... Torie took Bucha to Starbucks for her first Pupaccino.
Well, thanks for saving our Friday fellas. I'm almost sorry for making you draw a dolphin dick.
Matt, Hahaha. I do remember enjoying his art on that. it never got finished, right? He has a new book out right now that is also very pretty. His stories always lose me, though.

I was missing the weekly update, but Carson and Sean certainly filled the void.
Thank you, Matt. I think I owe you a few more dicks (thank GOODNESS we don't live in a world where that is actually currency!).
Carson,
You should read James Stokoe's Orc Stain. It's got an economy based on Orc dick.
Seriously.
Matt
