Thanks Matt! What happens if Please Hold wins and there are no questions though? Do you have some emergency back uo questions? If it's general topics maybe we could ask Dave about religion or politics or the like. I was trying to find something Dave wrote about the King and Islam recently but Collected Letters 2 doesn't have an index. Does Dave have an opinion on Norman Mailer's The Gospel According to the Son? I can see Dave thinking that he would never personally write a novel from the POV of Jesus (or Muhammad, or Abraham) because Scripture is Scripture. However it is something of a corrective to the idea that latter days Mailer stuck to safe secular topics.
For the record, I have no idea what Dave is talking about re: the interview in Acme Comics #2. I was still in elementary school when that came out, so maybe Dave is thinking of some other Tom Palmer Jr???
