J. TOONS! The wisdom of Frank Zappa pt 6 (Dave's weekly update #665)

Hi, Everybody!

Anyway, like it says on the Logo:
That little bit on the bottom there...

It's Friday, so that means:
Dave's Weekly Update:

Kickstarters:
Nothing doing currently, but you know more are coming.
_____________
Dave's CONTINUING the Please PAY For Dave Sim format, if YOU want more '82 Tour Book discussion, go HERE, and pay for "Dave Sim 82 Tour Book". But if YOU'd rather hear more stereotypical Please Hold (*shudder*) "content", go HERE and pay for "Please Hold For Dave Sim". 9/10 video done, 9/26 is loaded and being worked on... Dave's "finished" with his notes, and is waiting to see a revised prototype (that I have to make...), so while I'm sure the buttons are there, and that Dave'd appreciate the money, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, so there's no more notes to be had...

But I'll send up anything I get for Please Hold For Dave Sim you wanna send to momentofcerebus@gmail.com...

Okay, back to "bizness as usual"

A Moment of Cerebus runs Saturday through Friday.

The past Week in AMOC:
  • Saturday: Please Hold For Dave Sim 10/2026
  • Sunday: Literally the reason AMOC exists...
  • Monday: The 303rd Monday Report, and more Cerebus
  • Tuesday: I have a new contest (details below)
  • Wednesday: MORE Weekly Cerebus in Hell? Strips. Follow along on Instagram. Please fill out your Kickstarter surveys.
  • Thursday: Margaret has also posted ALL of Albatross One. (If you click that link, you can see all the pages of the notebook, OR, you can get a PHYSICAL copy here.) And all of The Last Notebook. Now she's gonna burn through all of Notebook #21. This week: The list of what was posted and when.
  • Friday: that's this post. You're reading the Friday post right now. This is STILL like that bit in Spaceballs. (I link to LAST WEEK'S Update in these things. Have been for longer than I care to think about...)

Okay, so that was the last week on AMOC.

So next month is the fifteenth anniversary of Tim founding A Moment of Cerebus, preceded by the ninth anniversary of my beginning to ruin the place.

Which means it's time for an "AMOC Birthday Contest"!

Break out the crayons, and draw a birthday card for AMOC, and email it to momentofcerebus@gmail.com by November seventh.

I'll take a look at all the entries, and pick a winner for a fabulous prize pack from the ol' AMOC Prize Box. (Depending on the number of entries, there may be a first runner-up, second runner-up, and Miss Congeniality.)

Use whatever artistic tools or media you want, all I ask is NO AI. It's beneath you.

I've decided that the FULL Rigamarole is only running on Fridays now...

The site offers UK shipping, so PRESUMEABLY it's printed and shipped there(?).
And Journey Complete:

Paperback
And if you wanna see how the book looks in Real Time...

I'm telling you now, because I always forget to give the $49 sale a boost. (And honestly, I think it being a big secret is kinda pointless if you're trying to make some monies...)
_______________
My friends at the Waverly Press, are moving their office, and to lighten the loads, they're temporarily cutting prices on their remaining Cerebus inventory on their eBay store starting this weekend. They're gonna be gradually listing more things in the coming days and any orders placed next week will receive new ‘82 Tour promo cards. They may go ahead and offer the remaining prototypes of the big book and comic versions next week. MAYBE. So if you're interested, maybe stalk their eBay page like a crazy person...
_______________
Heritage has:
And ComicLink (remember ComicLink? Seiler brought us ComicLink. R.I.P Jeff.) has:
And a list of ALL the issues they got.
Thanks to Steve for sending the link.
