I am, once again, asking what is the point of these things? I have a few of the early ones, and they are remotely funny. Is there a storyline or is it all just random schtick?

Why *this* and not an actual Cerebus revival?

Hi Benjamin!
I was unable to order CIH MARVELMANVARK SGN ONE SHOT through my LCS website. I was able to order the regular issue, though. Is there a glitch in the Diamond Previews?

Anonymous, I can not answer to the publishers actual point in creating these books. Perhaps it's as simple as 'shtick' is funny. But, as someone who does collect and enjoy these books, I can share why I do. They really are unique and different than any other comic book in the industry. Comic books are a form of 'media'. 95%+ of ALL that media are helping to broadcast the agenda of today's media machine. CIH? is that rare, absolute counter-narrative to today's media message. Example...a couple years back they satired the Covid situation. When all other media is spreading doomsday death sentences, I appreciated the humorous parody. For me, funny wins and was needed!!!

Fair enough.

Thank you Christon, this is the second time recently that you have given a very succinct description of just what Cerebus In Hell? is. It's obviously not for everyone, there aren't any unrealistically proportioned people in bright and silly costumes punching each other in new and interesting ways every five panels.

Just an unrealistically proportioned aardvark in a bright and silly costume pointing out how goofy the whole thing is.

At least that's what we're doing in December.
