For several years now, Canadian publishers Aardvark-Vanaheim
Cerebus the Aardvark (Cerebus) is a cult classic and a pioneering work of the worldwide independent comics movement. Cerebus gained global recognition for its editorial independence, the evolution of its story from a comedy adventure into complex political and social commentary, and for the tireless work of Dave Sim, earning it a Guinness World Record for its uninterrupted continuity across 6,000 pages.
This first issue of Cerebus will be published in a special limited run of only 1,000 numbered copies. Three variant covers will also be available drawn by Dave Sim, Craig Ferguson, and Antonio Alfaro, making them collector's items for alternative comic readers.
This historic release will also include, for the first time, a limited-edition collector's edition of Spawn TEN, the memorable collaboration between Todd McFarlane and Dave Sim, presented with remastered art, and incorporating previously unpublished material and new covers by Dave Sim and Humo Humberto Morales.
Both titles will be available to the public for 60 days, starting in late March 2026, in limited numbers for fans, collectors, and new readers in the Latin American market. Heritage has:
- Nothing.
- But coming around the 20th of NEXT month, the Original Art to the Envy and Anger plates from the Six Deadly Sins (the cover and two of the plates went for around 10K apiece when they were auctioned, so I hope you've been saving your pennies...) (Dave gets paid for these.), the Original Art to nineteen of twenty pages to issue #239(!),
- And slightly sooner: two slabbed copies of Cerebus #1 (even though one of the auctions has a Superboy cover instead of Cerebus (I assume that's an error on Heritage's part...)), and a slabbed Fantasy Quarterly #1.
And ComicLink (remember ComicLink? Seiler brought us ComicLink. R.I.P Jeff.) has:
