Hi, Everybody!
Dave's Weekly Update:
Brian West found the whole thing for us. And here's the actual opening...
_____________
Dave's CONTINUING the Please PAY For Dave Sim format, if YOU want more '82 Tour Book discussion, go HERE, and pay for "Dave Sim 82 Tour Book". But if YOU'd rather hear more stereotypical Please Hold (*shudder*) "content", go HERE and pay for "Please Hold For Dave Sim". Eddie sent in the Quasi-final:Dave sent some audio, so I guess I know what I'm SUPPOSED to be doing...
Okay, back to "bizness as usual"...
___________________________A Moment of Cerebus runs Saturday through Friday.
The past Week in AMOC:
- Saturday: I've finished posting Cerebus Volume 1.
- Sunday: With the Cerebus volume and High Society BOTH being posted, time for Exodus...
- Monday: The Monday Report, and and something that coulda been one of these Update videos...
- Tuesday: Jen is AWOL, so she DIDN'T post to help raise funds on The Strange Death of Alex Raymond GoFundMe, I did. $110 away from unlocking page 135 of Dave's POST-Carson SDOAR mock-up pages has unlocks. And I got ya a Raffle Item. AND GoFundMe has a MONTHLY option now, so you can schedule a reoccurring donation.
- Wednesday: MORE Weekly Cerebus in Hell? Strips. I think this one is written by Dave. Follow along on Instagram. And https://www.ebay.com/itm/236664955396 (Somebody was looking for the Vardalorian...)
- Thursday: Margaret has also posted ALL of Albatross One. (If you click that link, you can see all the pages of the notebook, OR, you can get a PHYSICAL copy here.) And all of The Last Notebook. Now she's gonna burn through all of Notebook #21. So sit back and get ready for pages and pages and pages of walls of handwritten text... This week, more little handwritten lines that are hard to read...
- Friday: that's this post. You're reading the Friday post right now. This is STILL like that bit in Spaceballs. (Should I link to LAST WEEK'S Update in these things?)
Okay, so that was the last week on AMOC.

My friends at the Waverly Press, are moving their office, and to lighten the loads, they're temporarily cutting prices on their remaining Cerebus inventory on their eBay store starting this weekend. They're gonna be gradually listing more things in the coming days and any orders placed next week will receive new ‘82 Tour promo cards. They may go ahead and offer the remaining prototypes of the big book and comic versions next week. MAYBE. So if you're interested, maybe stalk their eBay page like a crazy person...

Heritage has:
- Nut'in'. Not a #@$*ing sausage...
And a list of ALL the issues they got.
Thanks to Steve for sending the link.

Oliver' Simonsen's Cerebus movie: The Absurd, Surreal, Metaphysical, and Fractured Destiny of Cerebus the Aardvark it's currently available on "Plex", "Xumo", "Vimeo On Demand", "Tubi". If you're in Brazil..., "Mometu", "Nuclear Home Video". I think I got a message that one of these isn't valid anymore, but I lost it...

Hey looks like PH will win anyway but what are the cut offs - is it whoever has the most money at the start of August, or is it around the second Saturday of the month when you usually post PH Matt?
Um...'82 has a hundred, Please Hold has two. I wasn't a straight A student, but even I can do that math...
The cutoff is the end of the month. Whatever has the most money when the calendar flips wins.

Thanks dude! Ah yeah right enough looks like it will be tourbook for the forseeable so fingers crossed we'll get the book itself for 2028
Hey I know the Tour Book won't be ready by then, but are not getting anything for Cerebus' 50th anniversary? How about a double issue of #1 and #300? Or a Platinum issue 0 with a new cover? I'd buy them! Maybe Dave could do a new poster or something too
Dave did a remastered #1 in 2024 or so though, not sure he'd be up for that again. #300 definitely goes for more than cover price on eBay so maybe that would be an idea. How about Cerebus issue 50? It was the climax of High Society so it would be a decent issue to rerelease. You could call it #50 for 50 lile we're ESPN or something. Or how about you ask the top 50 cerebus fans (I'm sure Matt or Eddie must keep a backers list or something) and get them to pick their favourite Cerebus page each - voila , a new 50 page special. Get Dave to write a Cerebus number 0 type intro for each page. If Cerebus was British you'd use the obvious Cricket title pf "50 Not Out". Not sure what the Canadian/US equivalent would be. Even the Dodgers aren't hitting 50 runs.
50 pages with an intro for each would be a hundred pages - so the book itself would have to sell for a hundred bucks per Dave's guidance
