Well, it was almost that time again. I had an unrescheduleable appointment on Thursday, so Dave agreed to call me on Saturday. It was fun. I sent up the "Please Hold" strip, with the caption:

The fellas heard you were calling Saturday, and they went all Bay City Rollers.
To which Dave replied:
Dave says: "PLEASE! NOBODY QUIT THEIR DAY JOBS! SEEMS LIKE EVERY FIVE YEARS THERE'S ANOTHER RUMORED ROLLERMANIA REVIVAL THAT JUST ... FIZZLES OUT... NOTHING WRONG WITH STITCHING SOME TARTAN TRIM ONTO A FEW SHIRTS AND CUFFS JUST... YOU KNOW KEEP IT IN PERSPECTIVE -DAVE"
We talked for an hour and two minutes. It was great. (Except for some "domestics" towards the end. I tried to edit them out of the video, but if you hear weird shit in the background (of part three,) sorry? Hey, she has to live with This Guy...)

In part one, Dave answers the question "Does anyone know if Dave & co plans to do more Cerebus archive portfolios?" At length.

In part two, Dave discusses the Strange Death of Alex Raymond research, and the Genesis Question commentaries.

And in part three, Dave discusses the price of comic books, collected Cerebus in Hell?, and how I was the first in person in over forty years to catch something Dave did in early Cerebus stories.

If the video plays weird (or not at all, that's because I tried to use YouTube's editor to fix some..."glitches" in it. Caveat Emperor.) Heavy is the head that wears the shiny metal helmet.

Next Time: AMOC Amuck? Probably...

Dave may be overthinking things here. The first portfolio had the ad for the Cerebus Hologram in it. I would be happier to have any of the pages he mentions here.
