Cerebus Around the World and Web #74 by Oliver Simonsen

Oliver Simonsen:

(Continuing our play on current movies - last week it was Suicide Squad, before that Justice League and this week Kong vs Godzilla.)
Been having trouble with my right arm and finally saw a doctor and he recommended Prednisone - same thing that was offered to Dave Sim for his wrist ailment and like him I declined. Yay I'm finally following in his footsteps:). I saw a Physical Therapist for the first time this week - fingers crossed.

Matt here, I didn't know this existed, and I don't think Margaret knows about it either. And I don't recall Dave ever mentioning it. So I looked around on the interwebs and found a site that has a number of online stores where you can buy copies. It's a clunky way of doing it (You have to buy from individual stores, and shipping is gonna be killer,) but a set can be had (If I understand correctly, Cerebus is in issues 10-17. That's what I've bought.)

We now return you to Oliver.

Review of Cerebus issues #30-31: "This issue is called "Chasing Cootie" and now I cannot be convinced by even the most rational arguments that Chasing Amy wasn't named after this comic book." "Astoria is a rapist." "Dave Sim is basically the grandfather of Image Comics and now I see he's the grandfather in more ways than I knew! He invented the stupid looking dynamic super hero poses that would become Image Comics' bread and butter!"

Cerebus month went out with a whimper! I'll definitely do it again next year but I think I will select another teacher...I didn't want to confine anyone to cerebus assignments but I ran out of steam! Live and learn!
