Off topic: Nice to see Gene Day's name appear in the credits of the Shang-Chi movie. No idea if that translates into anything more concrete but I hope that means his widow got something nice from Disney/Marvel.
Nice commentary on Cerebus, glad there's more of it on the way.
Interesting comments on the "Magnifier", be it Cerebus, Dave, Sean and his wife's singing etc.
I think Minds through Form & Void could be the peak of Cerebus, though I also like The Last Day. For me, Dave or "Dave" entering the story was an unexpected highlight, that he appears again in Rick's Story was a welcome surprise.
I liked Sean's point about the uniqueness of the entire work, the search for truth on a monthly basis and so on. Writing this up now I realize I should've jotted some highlights down before commenting. But the longer I go without saying something the chances increase I'd never comment on this and it really was a very interesting podcast, the three of you making good points.
