This looks like a job for Rolly (Dave's weekly update #535)

Hi, Everybody!

Like it says on the Logo:

It's Friday, so that means:
Dave's Weekly Update:

Anybody got their back issues handy? Oh wait, AMOClassic has the answer (thanks Tim!). $100 for the B/W sets, $300 for the hand coloured sets. Adjusted for inflation: $296.05 B/W, $888.15 for coloured. I told Dave, and gave Ger a heads up. If'n I hear anything, youse guys'll be the first to know...

A Moment of Cerebus runs Saturday through Friday.
The Week in AMOC:
  • Saturday: How to get your very own copy of a facsimile edition of Dave's first notebook. UPDATE: Rolly, and shipping is (in US dollars):
    • CAN = $ 15
    • USA = $ 20
    • Inter = $ 25 (Surface)
    • Inter = $ 45 (Air)
      • (The four guys who paid me don't need to worry about it, Dave can "eat" the loss. He's eating the shipping on everybody who just sent him a hundred bucks...) (And I'm sending out the check tomorrow. I'll update you fellas as things proceed...)
  • Sunday: Dave's Wanderland logo process. Speaking of: The Help Out Bill Messner-Loebs Go Fund Me, or buy Rodney Schroeter's book with proceeds going to Bill.
  • Monday: The Unexpected Return of the Melodramati... um...I mean, The VERY Expected Return of the Monday Report.
  • Tuesday: Jen's post about The Strange Death of Alex Raymond Go Fund Me.  Speaking of which, $150 until the next page is unlocked. And she's working on how to give away an Albatross to one lucky GoFunder. Follow along to  see this got pear-shaped REAL quick, while Eddie laughs and laughs and laughs... (anybody else remember when there was a giveaway/auction through the patreon? Just me? Okay then...)
  • Wednesday: Hobbs posts another panel. With no dialogue. See, unlike say...Dave who let me post Narutobus one page at a time with everything-but-the-tones showing for anybody to see, Hobbs knows ya gotta hook 'em and keep 'em comin' back for more. Speaking of Narutobus: Heritage has stuff. Including Narutobus page 10:

  • Thursday: Margaret continued looking at the first Notebook AKA Albatross 1. See Saturday if you wanna copy.
  • Friday: that's this post. You're reading the Friday post right now. This is like that bit in Spaceballs. (Has this gag gotten old? No? Groovy.)
Okay, so that was the past week in AMOC. You're welcome.

Our friends at The Waverly Press let me know that they have two new Spawn 10 covers. Lenticular covers! It seems that back when the initial Lenticular cover was produced, there were extra copies of the "guts" to the issue, because a number of the covers were damaged in shipping. So, they got Jim Lawson and Brookes Morris to each do a cover, and produced them in Lenticular. They're limited in quantity, and the price will gradually rise as supply sells out. (They have ONE copy of Dave's cover left, for $750(!) to give you an idea of where these two may go...) Anyway, each comes with a trading card and every order gets a bonus, including the first ever Dave Sim photo card.
They are available RIGHT NOW!, right here, for One Hundred American Dollars!

More on this tomorrow (I got mail.)

Okay, back to Bizness as unusual:

I believe Sir Ger had some full sets a while ago (few years); I was, once again, looking into a Ger project to get a set hand-coloured....my appetite is consistently so much greater than my budget. Dammit.

So while I don't have a nicely coloured 1st 5th portfolio I do have a nicely coloured Six Deadly Sins that Gerhard absolutely smashed out of the park. He did this for me before the kids took over the household finances; it's stunning.

Anyone know where the original art for these plates now resides?

....kinda makes you wonder just what Dave has squirreled away in those closets, doesn't it?.....
