Art by Gene Day & Dave Sim

Co-created by writer Ron Leishman (who left after the first issue) and artist/co-writer Richard Comely, Captain Canuck was first published in July 1975 by Comely Comics. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've seen Dave Sim "do" John Byrne. Uncanny. Is there ANYONE's style he can't emulate successfully?

I think you meant "emulate Richard Comely".
