Breaking news: YOU can get Original Dave Sim Art!

As Friend to the Blog Steve Peters said in an update on his NEW Kickstarter: Comicverse: Subspace Chatter Softcover Collection

Hi folks--- It is now GO TIME to get a chance at the original art by Dave Sim for the "Tails of Sparkybus" #4 variant cover. The largest cash donation (not including a reward item) made before tomorrow, July 11, at 5:00 PM EST will get it. I did pay Mr. Sim for this piece, so hopefully the highest donation isn't $10! A donation will help me to continue paying Dave for other projects.

AND, Dave sent me this update on the Cerebus Humble Bundle:

So, if you think the Cerebus Humble Bundle deal is a rip-off since you bought 'em from CerebusDownloads.com, feel free to track down Dave and let him know you FEEL betrayed. And you DEMAND your $99CAD back! (And that you don't CARE if he spent the 75% Aardvark-Vanaheim keeps, since Dave sends Gerhard 25% of all the CerebusDownloads.com revenues, on food. You're taking food from an old man. Right out of his mouth. (Okay, hand.) (Okay, it's not food, it's money.) (And it's out of his bank account.) (But DAMN IT! You. SHOULD. Feel. Bad.). YOU tell Dave all that. It WAS the best deal in comics. And after the 18th, it'll resume that status. But, just because a once in a lifetime opportunity landed at Dave's feet and he could actually make a lil' scratch, go ahead. Bitch 'bout it. Be THAT kind of fan... I dare ya. I double-dog dare ya...)

"NOW it was serious. A double-dog-dare. What else was there but a "triple dare you"? And then, the coup de grace of all dares, the sinister triple-dog-dare."

I'm confused; it says it's going until 5 PM EST on the 11th, but the Kickstarter is already over even though that's over half a day away.

It's over now, but I was following it during the day. Congrats to the (presumable) winner who not only got the Dave art but took the KS to the line and funded it. I couldn't quite justify pledging enough money this time, and I can't remember how much of this I might have gotten with the other KS of Steve's that I pledged for a few months back, so I didn't end up pledging at all (yet?).

I guess there are late pledges available? I'm still confused about this new Kickstarter option, but hopefully Steve sees this and can clarify?
