On page 3 (fifth image from the top) the last man on the right of panel 1 (seen below in the large image as well) is Elie Wiesel. He was a wonderful writer. One of his books helped me in troubled times. He passed recently, but thank God we had him as long as we did.
As an Orthodox Christian, the Shoah deeply shames me. Read Eisner's last work, "The Plot," to see how deeply "Judenhass" was embedded in Russian Orthodoxy.
David, wasn't Wiesel the one who wrote "Night"? He had a masterful voice, whether on the printed page or out loud. I'm glad that he helped you. I'm sure that at least one tree was planted for him, in his name, in Jerusalem.

Lord, have mercy.

"Night" is the one he is most remembered for. For me it was "Messengers Of God", but all of his books are worth a read.
