So back in 2006, there was a showing of the Ye Bookees of Cerebus Art Show in Salt Lake City.
I went with my lovely wife.
We drove twenty-five hours (one way,) (with a two hour nap somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.)
Because we were @#$%ing crazy and did that, Dave let us tag along all weekend. (That was pretty neat.)

Anyway, when we got to the Library for the show, Gerhard was doing sketches. I hung back a little to watch, as he did this FANTASTIC background around a Cerebus-sized hole. (I figured he was gonna have Dave fill it,) the people at the table chatted with Ger for a bit and left, I presumed with their neat sketch.
Later on, Ger opened his sketchbook and ripped out a page and handed me this:
That's the neat background he was drawing. Apparently, the couple he was chatting with were just chatting.
(Of course, HOW DOES ONE INSERT THE AARDVARK NOW?!?!?)
Next Time: I write a really long post for once?

Thanks, Matt. Ah, those were the days! You really should have FLOWN to Salt Lake City though...
How do you add the aardvark? Just do the CIH? technique and photocopy one!
