Hm. Not as many laughs this week as usual. Probably the biggest one is Dave saying he never loses track of what he's watching, then immediately losing track of what he's watching before he even finishes that sentence. Well, I'm sure he'll be funnier next week.

Regarding Dave's comment on dialect coaches: George Clooney did just what Dave suggested and had his Kentucky uncle record all his dialog for Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?. Clooney then used the tapes to learn his lines. Supposedly, the director asked Clooney why he had removed all the foul language, but it was something the uncle had done.

Dan, I remember when Clooney was making the rounds of the talk show circuit talking about the story. Pretty funny.
