Who's got two thumbs and over ten pages of faxes from Dave Sim?

And the link that Rich sent, and Dave was talking about: https://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/cti_documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20070419_un-baptised-infants_en.html

That looks large for a comic cover...

Those look too small to be comic covers...

Those look like they might be comic sized...

I think we found "Goldilocks"...

Page 7, page 7 was cut in half...

Next Time: SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! OLIVER SIMONSEN JUMPS SNAKE RIVER GORGE ON HIS FLMING JETCYCLE!!!!!

The large images are the 11 x 17 inch signed prints of the Spawn 10 covers that were offered during the Kickstarter campaign. No idea about the Halloween edition images. Really big postcards?

David, maybe those are part of the secret bundle Waverly offered for its Halloween Edition of SPAWN 10?

Dave feels religious people were cowed into being silent in the 1980s? Well, just another example of him believing false things that make him feel better, I guess. This latest logorrhea is replete with them. As I've said, it's very funny to me that this individual who says he tries to describe reality as accurately as he can is just so gosh-durned bad at it. So thanks for the giggles, Dave!

Thanks for the giggles indeed! What a mess. An absolutely hilarious mess.

"So many but of him signs having done in front of them not they were believing into him, in order that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled which said, Lord, who believed to the thing heard of us? and the arm of the Lord to whom was revealed?

Through this not they were able to be believing because again said Isaiah He has blinded of them the eyes and he hardened of them the heart, in order that not they might see to the eyes and they should mentally grasp to the heart and they should be turned, and I shall heal them."

"As a drug dealer in the Bahamas said to me one night..."

Best non-sequitor by Sim, ever.

Well, all I axed was, " what do you think of the God vs. Evil theme in 'The New Mutants'?"

What are we? About 15 pages in, and only Dave and God know how many more pages. I mean, I hang on every word, but this takes me back to the wild west days when we would exchange 10 or 15 or 20-page letters.

When he sends me the printout of the finished product, it's gonna overflow my SIM storage tub.

And, all I did was ask about a mediocre comic book. As M. says, "yeesh!".

That message from Sim is so infected with mental illness it makes me dizzy. Ugh. I don't miss his books.

This is interesting, thanks for posting all of that.

Also, nice ticker gag "only got so..."

cheers,

This may be the first time I've seen "1984 Marvel Comic" and "interesting" in the same sentence.

The irreligious and intolerant among us make fun of Dave for expressing his religious views.

Christianity is by no means the oldest faith in the world, but it has prominence. Dave respects it and reads the Gospels regularly.

Extremist Muslims cut off Christians' heads because of their religious views. On TV. Dave is not an extremist Muslim. He just happens to pray five times a day and fasts during Ramadan, which is really early this year. I think that, sometimes, he might like to cut off *my* head, but, hey, the feeling is mutual. ;)

Jews just keep on keeping on. Good on 'em. And Dave observes the Torah.

Jews, Christians, and Muslims (in chronological order) all believe in the one true God of Abraham (or, Abrim [?]).

As a certain man in the 90s said, "Can't we all just get along?"

One God. If you believe in Him, then Judaism, Christianity, and Islam should all get along, peacefully.

Instead: Wars.

Crazy wars. Crazy interpersonal bullshit.

One God. Believe, or don't, but don't fight and kill. Who thinks, correctly, that God approves of killing in his name?

Correctly, I said. I didn't say "historically".

Sorry for the Tangent.
