Cerebus Around the World and Web #106 by Oliver Simonsen

Oliver Simonsen:

Two projects that have been on parallel tracks for years both premiered this week. Pretty amazing. That was not planned. The projects of course being "The Strange Death of Alex Raymond '' and the Cerebus film.

Hey, did they just call our film a "diamond" and "wildly cool"? Thank you, "2x2"!

I will take that as our first official review:).

Thanks to Larry Wooten, John Glisman and Rich L for requesting DVDs already. Very kind. Dave said that's fine so will get on that. What would the price point be? Please let me know. Whatever you say that is pretty much what it will be:) And will of course split that with Dave (and everyone involved) - even though he generously forfeited his share. Some artists on the film have told me to not worry about paying them but will.
Also slight change on how to do the film revenue. So basically unless it's any money of any consequence Dave's leaving it up to me, which is very kind, but I will regardless split it with him and everyone involved. So let's hope the film enjoys some success.

Robert Brian L. West has the polite version (and Dave gives Mark a very generous gift - click link for more):
Mark. I took the liberty of passing along your question, and was informed by Next President-in-Succession Eddie Khanna that, since it appears that Comixology will soon be discontinued, there are no immediate plans to publish subsequent volumes of Cerebus there. So far only the first two volumes of Cerebus have been released at Comixology.
Was also relayed that in light of the costs of reformatting and “reprepping” digital files of Cerebus for Kindle that it is not feasible to publish it on Kindle
