Update the second:
4th of July Special #2
Just sold on Heritage Auctions for $$$ |
We all know about the recent sale of the original art for Cerebus No 4. That is the reason we're all here (duh), but there was another auction that ended just a couple of weeks ago on June 19. That auction featured 3 pages of original art from Cerebus No 1 and those pages sold for incredible sums. These pages were sold by Dave for $10 each back in 1978. 44 years later they sold for:
Page 2: $24,960 ($31,200 with Buyer's Premium*)
Page 3: $23,040 ($28,800 with Buyer's Premium)
Page 9: $28,800 ($36,000 with Buyer's Premium)
*Buyer's Premium? Heritage Auctions charges a 20% fee on all transactions.
The good news is that any one that purchases the CEREBUS NO 4 CAN PORTFOLIO - Option 4 ($900) will receive prints of these pages for Free. These prints will be Single-Sided and added to your shipment at no extra charge.
But what about the (as of this writing) other 98 backers? All backers will be able to purchase these plates individually for $15 each during the last week of the campaign, July 9-16. No additional shipping costs will be added for these plates.
Thanks to everyone for your continued support and stay tuned for one more special offer tomorrow. We'll also let you know if Pieces Of Turtles 8.2 US Edition will be available in 5 and 10 packs.

Living the Line got a new series with Carson Grubaugh The Abolition of Man #1. It's a comic "drawn" by an AI.
They also published The Strange Death of Alex Raymond, which has the website of annotations.
