Paul Poirier: Dana Black's colorful interpretation of what we thought Cerebus in Hell would really be. I LOVE IT!
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3409070715826946/

John Glismann: This is from the back of Fish Police # 1 (Summer 1985). It was the first issue so obviously there were no letters yet. The gag was that the creative team were writing notes to each other. It’s clear that Cerebus was the gold standard of the independents at this moment in time. There are also multiple Cerebus mentions in the letters pages of Fish Police numbers 3 and 4.

Stephen Bolhafner in the comments: I loved Fish Police!
Like the first 64 (? 63? however many it was) issues of Cerebus, one guy did pretty much everything - although I think he actually did have a letterer, which of course Dave never needed. I always thought Steve Moncuse was a better writer than he ever got credit for.

Michael Norwitz: Has anyone seen this book? It has a (non-Simian) Cerebus story in it, taking place post-300. Not by Alan Moore, alas. http://www.calibercomics.com/the-geek-of-the-gods.html
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3409765862424098/

Lee Bentley: Show of hands for who wants a Cerebus muppet...?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3408003399267011/

Lee Bentley: Dave's been a multi-media mogul off and on over the years. (I had one of those cameras myself, a Sony DXC-M3.)
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3405226369544714/

Lee Bentley: I really enjoyed this tape. I wish they'd gotten Steve Ditko on-camera, but his voice-over is still pretty effective. Dave's on-camera persona has only gotten cooler over the years.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3405126412888043/

John Glismann: Back cover of Dreadstar # 13 (from Marvel’s Epic Comics. August 1984). It’s an ad promoting the first color Cerebus story in Epic Illustrated. Just for context, I’m also posting the ad on the back of that month’s Fantastic Four # 269. It’s something about video games.

Lee Bentley: OK, this pretty much confirms that Astoria was going to try to do the final ascension herself (with Artemis' help) before being "sparkled" away to murder the Lion of Serrea instead.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/cerebus/permalink/3390802914320393/

Larry Wooten: The mail was very, very good to me.

Larry in the comments: Personalized to Larry. How could I pass that up?Also the issue number is 11, the same as my CAN# 11. I do like that Cootie. Coincidence? You decide.
