Cerebus Around the World and Web #114 by Oliver Simonsen

Oliver Simonsen:

My "Cerebus film twitter account" makes a joke and gets a like from James Gunn. Awesome.

Film Threat's legacy goes back to when i was in film school in the late 80s at CSULB and now gives the first full review of the Cerebus film - it's a dream come true: "...the animation on Cerebus is excellent, making the character stand out starkly against the backgrounds, just like in the comics. Also, the camera angles are great, as is the lighting." "The script and general vibe are slavishly faithful to the comic books. I can’t imagine the godawful changes a more commercial production would have imposed on the adaptation. The Elrod sequence, in particular, is a showstopper" "I have already watched the film three times. I plan to watch it several more" "...movies don’t get much more independent than this"

The juggernaut of comic review vloggers, "Comic Tropes", says of the Cerebus film: "Cerebus is well animated and voiced". "...this film is a gift."

"The Comics Brain" shares

As mentioned, the Cerebus film is coming to Vuuzle and Tubi - and now i've been notified it's also coming to Amazon Prime! Yay!:)
