Dave Sim's childhood friend and Cerebus TV collaborator, Max Southall, has just uploaded on his long dormant "Cerebus TV" youtube account an old CerebusTV episode. CerebusTV was ahead of its time and so much fun - albeit a bit stressful at times trying to keep up with a weekly schedule. And if there ever was a take away it's this: we need to see Dave Sim act in a movie! He would crush it. Awards galore.
Not sure the particular reason for the upload and will touch base with Max. Hopefully the email I have still works. It certainly seems fitting enough as we look back on the early days of both "Strange Death of Alex Raymond" and the Cerebus film taking form. I see the old Dracula promo i made for the Gene Colan interview is in this episode as well. I think Max once mentioned something about releasing that interview? I might remember wrong.
