Dave Sim's mock up for beginning of updated Cerebus film

We had hoped to have more Cerebus handrawn animation but alas it is a much smaller pool to draw from (no pun intended) but rejoice because Eddie Khanna has come up with a Russian Novel length traditional 2D animation from a drawing by Dave Sim - and what could be more perfect as Cerebus comics as a whole is often compared to a Russian Novel.

Indie comic creator Delwyn Klassen: Cerebus had a few Mind Game issues with the fourth one hiding the third one in twenty mixed up half-page pieces. I didn’t have a photo copier or a second copy to sacrifice, so I doodled all the pages and glued the puzzle into the back of a sketchbook. Surprise! Cerebus is the new pope!

Hi Brian!
I do read the CIH?s. I usually wait 2 or 3 issues and when I have some time, I binge read.

I do like reading them. There are some hit and misses based on the "joke" incorporated from the cover.

I do like how the books have progressed from the beginning. Words and pictures sometimes larger than the page constraints look great. Also, having the storyline run through the issue benefits the book way better than having "joke" only per page after page.

Still not a fan of the sideways look. I'm constantly turning the book to read it. LOL.

I think most Dave Sim/Cerebus fans buy the book just because its Dave Sim/Cerebus is on the book. Plus it's ONLY 4 bucks.

On the other side, having the CIH? covers that have older and newer trending comic book covers may increase sales with new readers.

I don't have any favorites, but the Iron Manticorre issue is a favorite only because I won 3 eBay bids that has the whole issue in mocked up on copy paper. Dave personalized every single page. How cool is that!!!

That is very cool, Michael. That particular Cerebus #1 sneaks up on you with wit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me here.
