And then:

Oh yeah, Craig.

What'd he get Megs?

Wait, let's pause and all reflect on HOW we got here.

Michael Hunt bought a Last Day Panoramic Remarque SIGHT UNSEEN for $111 with a promise to pay MORE if Dave did a Lord Julius head sketch in it. And asked Room Service to send up another room.

Dave said that in that other room was a nightstand, and Michael could TRADE what he already had for what was on the nightstand. Michael...DID NOT. NO DEAL!

Then Dave offered what was on the nightstand to Michael R. of Easton Pennsylvania. He DIDN'T TAKE IT. NO DEAL!

Then Craig found the identity of the Cosplay lady, and Dave offered up a bunch of stuff as reward, but THEN Dave offered to trade it all for what's on the nightstand.

And Craig said...
DEAL!

Okay, now Megs:

Congratulations Craig, we're all so jealous of you.

Michael & Michael each get a copy of the Home Game (you get somebody in your household to put something in a box and you fret over what it could be. Don't take too long, it might be a puppy...)

Hey Matt!
Could you add a link to SDOAR 2023 GFM at the bottom of your posts on AMOC?
Thanks!
Jen
If you click the link and donate five dollars... you get access to a sh*tload of Strange Death of Alex Raymond mockups. (Like a hundred pages I think.) Of course, donating more could get you more.

Next Time: Okay, what's under the bed of the new Stateroom?

A copy of The Last Day. A hardcover copy of The Last Day. Copy #1 of 300 of The Last Day. From Dave's nightstand. Whooo! Quite the prize!

To say I'm speechless is no joke - except for now obviously, I've recovered that power....that two prior people said NO DEAL....sorry guys.

(Now, where is that ebay link....) ;)

That's so cool, Craig.

I went back and forth so many times with the DEAL OR NO DEAL and FINALLY decided to go with what I originally wanted which was The Last Day REmARQUE INTO THE LIGHT 410B. And I am still happy to have an original Dave Sim on a cover.

...BUT!!! to have 1/300 The Last Day HC is VERY impressive since Dave usually keeps anything numbered 1 through 3 for the archive.

I'm very happy for you!

Also, I have to change my question for Dave next month's PHFDS. :)

Dave can really be generous, as this exchange shows.

Now I wonder: will Lucky Mr. Johnson get his #1 before the unwashed hoi polloi?

Steve

BTW: Dave did not keep #1's at least on the Six Deadly Sins portfolio or the gold cover edition to High Society

Also, anybody who ordered any or all the new covers of Cerebus #1 through Waverly Press, the comics have shipped.

So anybody who probably was thinking how long this was going to take to get... not long at all!
