SDoAR 2.23: Paging Glen Schol! Is There a Glen Schol in the Building?

Okay, apologies if you are Glen Schol and wanted to keep a low profile, but you won the Albatross One Notebook Sweepstakes, and I haven't been able to successfully make contact.

If you are Glen Schol and want to receive your Albatross One Notebook, please contact me at jen@typingmonkeys.com with your mailing address and I'll get it out to you soonest.

If you are Glen Schol and you don't want your name plastered all over the place, please contact me at jen@typingmonkeys.com and I'll pull down the post, rewrite it, repost it and Bob's your uncle.

If you are Glen Schol and don't want the Albatross One Notebook, contact me at jen@typingmonkeys.com, tell me to piss off, and I'll proceed to the first runner-up.

As for project updates...

  • No more page unlocked! Boo!
  • Philip R. Frey and I have completed our reviews of the Giant-Sized Ashcans -- and should have finished files by the weekend. Then send to Alfonso and await the next set of proofs. Huzzah!
  • The GoFundMe page has been updates (huzzah), so next up on the list is to write a lengthy update to all donors that hopefully will goose the donations a bit. Huzzah!
That said, I would be interested in picking everyone's brains on what other items might elicit another wave of donations similar to what we raised for the Albatross One Notebook
  • Early Cerebus issues?
  • Original Dave Sim in-progress sketches for SDoAR?
  • Original Dave Sim sketch cards?
  • Somewhat rare Cerebus collectibles?
Share your thoughts and ideas in the comment section and maybe we can come up with something to keep the momentum rolling!

Just the GoFundMe Facts, Ma'am

  • $12,802.00 raised to date from 213 donations
  • 67 new pages released as mocked up by Dave Sim from 11 June to 4 December 2021
  • 88 total pages available on Dropbox, including Dave's 2019 mocked-up pages
  • $198.00 away from unlocking page 89
  • If you have not donated > $5+ donation grants access to all 88 pages and all pages moving forward
  • If you have donated, thank you, but if you want to donate monthly, GoFundMe does not offer that option, so please do so as we are at the beginning of month #6 of Year 2.

Jen, as impressive as SDOAR is on its own, I think that Cerebus could potentially boost some money for the project. Books, art collectibles, stuff in general I suppose. I could be wrong, it's just my humble opinion, if you're asking the AMOC crowd.
