Treasures From The Cerebus Archive: "Placeholder" ads for Aardvark-Vanaheim titles for the COMICS BUYER'S GUIDE (you had to advertise in each issue in order to keep your reduced ad rate). Designing and pasting these up was Gerhard's first job at A-V.

That's one "eccentric" slate of comics to offer, but I think the credit for publishing those belongs more to Deni than Dave, no? (wrt Jeet Heer's published comment.
The one for Cerebus is also the artwork for a business card size magnet that was given to the Friends of Cerebus fanclub with issue #12 of the newsletter (August 1984).
To clarify, it is the one with Cerebus in the hammock.
And I'm guessing you've got at least one of those sweet little rarities, eh, Margaret?
If I'm reading the post it note correctly, did Gerhard do paste-up on these? Seems like a waste of his talents.
Jeff - Yup. I even have it on my fridge next to my Aardvark Vanaheim business card size magnet. . .it looks like the old AV business cards, but nothing else on it except the company name.
So, M, if I will my estate to Dave, could you will your estate to me?
Hmmmm?
Sorry Jeff, I already promised Dave that my collection of Cerebus goodies would go to the Cerebus Archive. :)
